favs for friends

I feel like I have been spoiled silly when it comes to weekends of late - first, it was one here with my mom, then one in Florida with the fam, and now it's another one here with my three best friends in the entire world:

my best friend Charlotte,
my best friend Jessie,
and my best friend (and little sister) Gretchen.

Each of them is making the six hour journey out here from the big NYC (with men in tow) to spend the weekend with me!  And what a weekend it will be.  You'll definitely want to check back in next week for an update on the happenings here.

So anyway, onto the favs:
this fantastic Friday I'm bringing you my favorites for a weekend with friends. 
Best friends that is.

For remembering:

How many of your absolute favorite memories

were enjoyed with best friends over a bottle of wine? 

Document them with some wine cork journaling,

which doubles as some cheap, but awesome, apartment styling.

For party throwing:

This idea doesn't quite work into the theme

of the soiree we're hosting this weekend,

(check back in next week because this is a party not to be missed!)

ain't just for mothers and daughters anymore

the auberge de soleil up in napa

well we are headed up to wine country on sunday,

we won't be staying at this beauty.

(maybe when we're all celebrating our 50ths

in a bazillion years from now.)
